Being part of Festival of Holidays at Disney California Adventure alongside the incredibly talented Nazara Dance team was one of those unforgettable experiences where rhythm, culture, and pure joy came together on a truly magical stage.
From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt special! Disney has a way of honoring celebration at the highest level and not just through spectacle, but through intention. Every detail matters. Every performance carries meaning. And that aligns deeply with how I approach music.
Sharing Culture Through Rhythm
The Festival of Holidays celebrates traditions from around the world, and performing within that space felt like an honor and a responsibility. Live percussion — especially tabla and dhol — carries history, emotion, and storytelling within each beat.
Playing alongside Nazara Dance brought those elements to life in the most vibrant way. Their precision, expression, and energy paired seamlessly with live rhythm, creating a shared language between movement and sound. It wasn’t just a performance, it was a conversation between dance and percussion.

Guests from all over the world stopped, watched, smiled, and leaned into the rhythm. Some danced. Some recorded. Some simply stood or sat still, fully present in the moment. That’s the power of live music & dance! It attracts & connects instantly, without explanation.
Moments like these reinforce why I believe live percussion belongs in meaningful spaces. Whether it’s a wedding, cultural celebration, or global stage like Disney, rhythm has the ability to unite people through feeling alone.
Collaboration Makes the Experience
Working with the team from Nazara Dance was a reminder of how powerful collaboration can be when artists trust each other. The energy on stage came from shared respect for the music, the movement, and the story being told.
Performing in a setting as iconic as Disney also requires professionalism, adaptability, and awareness. Timing, flow, and intentional rhythm matter even more. Lessons that translate directly into the elevated wedding and event experiences I strive to create.
